FAQ

My style is simple, to create images that focus on you as a person and the relationships you have between each other. From family sessions to weddings, each image shows the uniqueness of you. My goal is to provide you with a whimsical twist to the classic and contemporary. I am often asked prices on different sessions, from newborn portraits to weddings, as well as travel policies and turnaround time for images. I have complied a list of the most frequently asked questions here. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or anything else!

• Why are your wedding prices not listed?

Although I can understand wanting to see the prices for wedding services listed here for your convenience, please understand that I treat each wedding as different as each couple. They are not all a “one size fits all” as things like travel, location, and print options can drastically change the price of packages. Please feel free to contact us with your needs to discuss your options further.

• Do I have a “Second Shooter” for weddings?

I do have the option for second shooter in packages as well as an add on. However it is recommended to make sure to book this option as soon as you decide you want one because I cannot always guarantee one if booked less than 90 days before the event.

• Do I edit all of my images?

Yes! Each image you get has been edited by me.

• Where do you live and how far do you travel?

I currently reside in Jamestown California. I cover any part of Tuolumne County without any additional travel charges as well as parts of Calaveras and Stanislaus Counties. I do travel ANYWHERE in the world, for additional travel fees. So, if you’re getting married in the Bahamas book us, we would LOVE to enjoy the island with you!

• Do I have an Assistant?

Yes! I have an assistant! She is however NOT a second shooter! She is there to assist me and comes to basically every shoot we do, especially weddings. She does everything from holding lights, helping to arrange people in group portraits, and to be my voice when trying to get attention of large groups. My assistant is delightful, funny, highly skilled and a little bit weird. Needless to say, we make the perfect pair!

• Can I provide you with a “shot” list?

Why I highly recommend having a Pinterest board that you can share with me, I don’t recommend having one; here’s why! Having me work from a “check list” is counterproductive to the work you have seen on my website and will create a very different look to your gallery of images. For weddings, the bridal magazines having those photography “check lists” is handy and thoughtful but remember that most of those images I generally capture without prompting.

• Can I “hold” a date for you?

I am so sorry, but I cannot hold or pencil in a date for anyone. To be fair to everyone I cannot hold a date without a signed contract and retainer.
